Anna Pabinger Triumphs in IRONMAN Debut in Chattanooga

Sensational Success: Anna Pabinger wins her first IRONMAN long-distance race in Chattanooga (USA) with a huge lead. The Upper Austrian has been part of the OMNi-BiOTiC® athlete team since August and now, shortly after Casper Stornes’ IRONMAN World Champion title, secures another victory for the probiotic brand OMNi-BiOTiC®.

After successes in middle-distance races, including a second place at the OMNi-BiOTiC® Apfelland Triathlon and a victory at the Austria Triathlon in Podersdorf, the competition in Chattanooga was Anna Pabinger's first participation in an IRONMAN over the full distance of 3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, and 42 km running – and she immediately crowned herself the winner. What's more, she achieved this with a sensational lead of more than 15 minutes, which she built up during the marathon.

The triumph at the popular race in the US state of Tennessee, one of 14 IRONMAN long-distance courses in the USA, is an important milestone for Pabinger and paves her way to the world elite, as she enthusiastically explains: "I still can't quite believe it! In my IRONMAN debut in Chattanooga, I was able to celebrate the victory and thus secure my ticket for the IRONMAN World Championship 2026 in Hawaii. A big dream is coming true for me with this."
